Question:

I have a clicking in the rear of my car?

it sounds like the click your indicators make, it happens about every 10 seconds on average and when it happens the noise of the engine running changes slightly, I think it is coming from the left side at the back, any ideas what it could be. Also any ideas how to open my bonnet because the lever woin't work and I need to check my oil and water.

    It could be the pump which supplies gas [petrol] from your tank to the engine.

Ah Ok clicking sound jack vehicle up or have someone do it for you turn tire might have a stick hung up under car have seen this several times also wheel bearing can make noise as well normally a roaring or squeaking noise  next part hood if the plastic part is broken pliers will work and some cars need a little tap on hood to pop up hit lightly but firmly (hard enough to pop but don't bend hood) in back corner of hood. others take two people

  6. The clicking sounds like it could be the fuel pump, with the bonnet try gripping the release cable with a pair of pliers and give it a good pull.
