I have a cocktail bird and i dont know if it's a female or a male can you help me?

Is there any way to tell.

If the bones of the pelvis are close together it is a girl because they need to lay eggs.  You can't always be completely sure.

male cockatiels have more yellow on their face, they also talk more and whistle more, females have more of a darkish face  can u post a pic? im sure i could help?    check out http://www.parrotcentral.net/cockatiels.... for good cockatiel info

Does your bird sing, or talk or mimic? The males do the talking, singing and mimicking. The females do not.
