Question:

I have a communal dish on my block of flats.

I just wanted to know if i could recieve german channels like 3sat, ard ,zdf ect if i unplugged my sky plus digi box and use the same dish to plug into an anolouge box?.I cannot move the dish as i aint obviously not allowed being that it is communal.

I assume your communal dish is an 80cm dish pointing a 28.2 degrees east (eg sky) .There aren't any German channels broadcasting on the satellite that Sky uses .If you wanted 3 sat and zdf  ect  you would need a free sat receiver and an 80cm dish pointing at 19.2 degrees east You can also use your sky box and add channels in the other channels selection via the services button but you need to buy your own dish and point it at  19.2 East

  2. Not possible, if your dish is used for Sky TV. There are some analogue German channels still in service, but you would need a dish pointing at Astra 19.2 east.
