I have a conn saxophone but i don't know what type it is?

i got it back in 5th grade and i want to sell it because it's in amazing condition and i have no use for it, i dont have the original papers and when i looked online it says something about 24m and blah blah blah, i just have the very basic conn saxophone, do you know what type it is?

  1. Chances are it's an alto sax - that would be about two feet high and the top (where you blow) would form a single angle of about a hundred degrees.

    If it's a tenor sax, it will be about half again as large and the top will have a curve in it.

    Coming from the fifth grade, it probably isn't a soprano, baritone or bass sax.

Nobody cares if it is a 24M or 25M.  That is not a quality for a saxophone that makes it better or worse.   The condition is what you need to be concerned about.  Prospective buyers will want to know if it needs pads or realignment or adjustments.  They will want to know how old it is...  if it has dings or dents or scratches.   Also if the gold plating is wearing off.  These are the things that sell or keep a horn from being sold.    You don't need the original papers,  but a nice case,  a mouthpiece, ligature, neckstrap, cap and swab would be a plus.    You should be able to sell it for anywhere up to $600.00 if you are lucky.
