Question:

I have a couple cartilage piercing questions?

I am getting my cartilage pierced within the next week or so. I just have a couple questions first. I know everyone has different pain tolerance, and that it's a needle going through your skin so it's going to hurt. Just don't point that out cuz I am already aware of those two things. Anyway....here we go:

1. Pain while needle is going in (1-10)

2. Pain after, and for how long

3. Size of needle they use ( I want a pretty small one)

4. Does it bleed and how much?

5. Healing time, and pain during healing?

Thanks everyone (:

  1. all piercings hurt no matter what you get done some are more painful then others the lobes, helix, cartilage are the least painful

    1. i never had my done with a needle but a lot of people it only hurts for 30 sec and it feels like a bee sting.

    2. after you get it done it don't hurt at all it just sore

    3. i would say 16g or 18g

    4. piercing don't really bleed an less you get your tongue done

    5. 3 months to a yr to fully heal it will itch cause that means its healing

  2. 1) 4-5

    2) doesn't last that long

    3) same size they use to pierce the bottom

    4) depends on who you  are if it bleeds. But most likely not

    5) healing time. Not to long. But It does hurt to sleep on it. You wont be able to sleep on that side for a while(:

    I hope this helps(:

  3. Ok there is a lot of cartilage on your body... ears, nose... but for ears.... needle going in 5-6, not much pain.. just a stingy tingly sensation... for a few minutes... size of needle depends on what earing... but its pretty small, no it does not bleed it can if you mess around with the piercing, healing isn't that long... and not much pain...

    hope that helps!

  4. I did my own , so Im gonna answer to that :)

    1. 4-5 .

    2. Not alot, it just kinda burns a little. for like 5 mintues, i iced mine after.. and its a little red and sore for 2 -3 days.

    3. I used a sewing pin. lmao.

    4. Mine bled the first time i tried, so i stopped. But then i did it again, and it didnt bleed.

    5. I dont know what my healing time was. Just keep the same earring in for at least 6 weeks, clean it 1-2 times daily and you'll be fine !
