I have a couple of old books and i would like to know if they are worth anything.?

Are there any sites in the UK that would buy books from me or tell me what my books are worth.

books are usually worthy if they are over 300 years old OR they are over 200 years old AND FIRST EDITION

specially first edition encyclopedias

try typing in or searching out information on the pricing of old/vintage books !! & when you see a screen that would give you the chance to type a books title in it ... try that.. you may be asked for .. or given the year said book was written or published ... Now go from that point in trying to find out more detail!!  Good Luck!! .  r R r

See if they are listed on ABE (www.abebooks.com) - not that this is infallible, there are books there which are wildly over-priced

if they are old enough that they would be worth anything then you should go to an antique shop for advice

but for them to be worth anythign they would need to be at least like 200 years old
