1. Does it taste the same as reg. milk I usually by 2% milk if that matters.

2. Can you use it in cooking/baking the same way you use reg milk or will it affect the taste of what you making do you have to change the amount at all of what you are baking when you add it.

  1. It doesn't taste the same but the vanilla kind is awesome! You can use it in baking/cooking just make sure you use the original unflavored kind. The vanilla would work well with desserts though!

  2. It doesn't have the same taste....it's less dense than cow milk..it can be used in baking...I think it will give it a good flavor as well. I prefer other milks though, like almond, rice or oat milk.

  3. difrnt taste, but not bad.

    will not cook like milk.

try rice milk, has better taste.  better for you.

  4. no it doesnt taste the same but it doesnt taste bad! and yes you can use it in cooking and baking ... well atleast silk soymilk. thats what i use. and if you have any more questions go to http://silksoymilk.com k?

  5. I know that soy milk tastes a little creamier and has somewhat of a thicker texture, a more off-white color to it. It might taste more similar to 2% than skim because of the fat. In terms of cooking with it...try this website: http://www.ochef.com/533.htm

  6. I've tried it in multiple recipes when I was experimenting recipes for the restaurant. It just doest cook the same for some reason. I believe the cellulose structure breaks down with heat (unlike cow or goat milk). Something about the fat content as well. The fatter the milk, the better it cooks.
