The crf150f is a trail bike and not really made for jumping or racing, but I think that you can race it if you are in America although if I were you I would save up for a crf150r.  Then you are riding a race bike with suspension designed to race.  

In Australia there is no class for the bike you have to race, so you would not have a choice.

no bro trust me i kno from experience i had a 150f and some ppl didnt let me on the track because the wheels are not meant for landing i went to a track 3 times then it broke going off a jump so i switched to a crf150R thats wat u have to have bro

dont try  and race it, the other bikes will kill it in the straights, and the suspension is not nearly up for the job of jumps

Also, big jumps can cause your frame to crack

Just follow what Auburn says. Her MX knowledge is second to none.

The others have a point in saying that your model is more of a " fun " bike rather then a full on racer.

If you do fancy giving it a go, get the very saftey gear money can buy.

thats a fun/trail bike its not really up to the job of mx racing although you could enter some low level trail/enduro events but i think thats the limit really

The F model will not handle any real jumping. It is not just a matter of the other guys having faster bikes. If you try doing any fairly big jumps on a 150F you will at the very least blow out your suspension and even worse get hurt in the process. BBR does make stiffer springs for the front and rear, and while they will help you not to bottom out and ruin your suspension they also cause the suspension to be very harsh. Take it out on the track and run as hard as you'd like, but just roll the bigger jumps.
