I have a criminal record in Canada and I planning to go to Seoul, South Korea. I know that Korea does not require a VISA application to enter the country. Just before the airplane lands in Seoul, Korea, the flight attendants ask you to fill out a landing card. On this form they ask you if "you have ever had a criminal record?" Should I answer yes or no?

  1. It's always to best to be honest but just to let you know there is no way Korea is going to go through the hassle contacting the Canadian Foreign office to obtain your records, unless you are on the FBI's most wanted list. oh yeah FBI is American i think it might be called CBI in Canada.
