  1. There are too many 'depends' to give you a correct answer. Things including: crime, jail time, date of crime, etc will vary the answer. In some countries after you turn 18 a juvenile record is irrelevant.

My suggestion is to contact your nearly Australian consulate or embassy in writing and include all details of your record.

If you commit no more crimes in the future, you will be allowed in Australia eventually but there make be a time restraint before you can do so.

So be a good boy and you can visit the wonderful land of Oz.

  2. as long as you are not a child molestor or murderer you will be fine unless you have been in jail for more than 12 months i just moved to australia and i declared my convictions at customs was held up for about 20 minutes and then i was fine mind you im a nz citizen whiich does make it alot easier.

  3. You should be able to travel to Australia on a Tourist Visa (Sub Class 676), for a period of up to 90 days, which unfortunately doesn't allow you to work. As you are a minor your visa would need to include a signed consent form from a legal guardian.

The Australian Government's, Department of Immigration and Citizenship website has detailed information regarding all the available visas and their requirements.

  4. when you find out let me know. I have a friend who wanted to live there but has some history of his own.. Last I heard though you couldnt get a passport if you have a felony. I could be wrong though.

  5. There's more to getting into Australia than simply meeting the character requirements, but here they are:

    http://www.immi.gov.au/allforms/characte...

If you've been sentenced to a term of imprisonment for 12 months or more or have been sentenced to two or more terms of imprisonment (whether on one or more occasions), where the total of those terms is two years or more

or if you have been acquitted of an offence on the grounds of either unsoundness of mind or insanity and, as a result, have been detained in a facility or institution,

you will not meet the character requirements..

  6. Hopefully, yes.  We don't want anymore criminals in our country.  We have enough.  I don't think anyone with a criminal record should be allowed into my country.
