  1. You just need braces.

I had a pretty big gap in between my top and bottom jaw

    & my braces helped it.

I had to wear the rubberbands for them to become closer.

I use to get made fun of by my sisters a lot, but after the braces were off, they are def. jealous. ha they told me.

There's no gap anymore and I have straight teeth.

  2. I don't believe that you would need surgery.  Braces would work well enough.

Usually near the end of your braces experience, when they are about to come off, the orthodontist would give you a different type of rubber band that will go onto small hooks already on the brackets.  These rubber bands are supposed to be worn every night.  What they do is they pull the top and bottom jaw together so that your teeth will align and fit together normally.

I hope this helped a little.

  3. you need a head brace... i dont think you need surgery

  4. Mine don't either.  I had braces for a couple of years and the ortho asked me if it bothered me that my teeth didn't line up in the back when I bit down, and I was like 15 and wanted them off so bad I said "no" but I wish I had kept my braces on until my teeth were completely fixed!  That orthodontist sucked.  She should have asked my parents.  Now I really need to have braces again and i'm in my late 20's.

You may not need surgery, just braces and possibly get some teeth pulled.  You will probably need to wear the rubber bands to correct your bite too.
