  1. spa/salon costs money

    juice, water, coffee, tea if free in the buffet

    other drinks will cost u. {{i usually purchase a card at the beginning of the cruise that allows u to get free drinks from the bar [virgin] and soda}}

    the teen groups are great to meet new people.

    thts wat i do...i meet new people in the teen clubs. usually we just hang around in different places { by the pool, on the outside deck, dance clubs, buffet {{at nite when its practically empty}} }. but we do go back to the teen club for teen disco, movie night. etc.

    HOPE U HAVE FUN!!!

  2. you will have to pay for any spa services, including hairdressers, and drinks above and beyond the free beverages (normally juices, ice tea, coffee and regular water )the nights of the captains cocktail party there are free drinks and hor d'overes but any alcohol other than that is charged for...anything spent at the casino or gift shops....you will find though that almost all food is free of charge (some ships have extra restaurants and shops for food)  and there is plenty of it.....if you drink soda, think about a beverage card that allows unlimited soda during your cruise....most importantly have fun

  3. The spa you do have to pay for and it is really expensive. There's numerous different things that you can get at the spa and they're not cheap at all. There is a hairdresser onboard which also is not included and not that cheap either.

    This is typically what the salon has to offer onboard(it will vary depending on the ship but this is basically what you will be offered):

    The drinks that you have to pay for is soda, alcohol, or a special "island" drink without any alcohol. Everything else is included. If you intend to drink a lot of soda you can buy the soad card so that you can drink however much you want and just pay a one time fee for your cruise.

    The teen groups are a lot of fun, you can do a lot of fun things and also meet a lot of people your age. You can try it for a little while, and if you find that you don't like it, you simply don't have to go anymore if you don't want to.

    Hope this helps & have fun!

    p.s. which cruise are you going on?

    you can send me a message (:

  4. Spa treatments, hair dressers, drinks (both alcoholic and soda), items in the shops, and shore excursions are all extra charges.  You will get an itemized bill in your cabin the last night of your cruise, and those charges will be made to the credit card you have registered when you boarded the ship.  Many ships sell "soda cards" which are good for unlimited soda on board during your cruise, but be sure to divide the cost to get the per-day cost, since some soda cards are a bargain and others are not, depending on what you actually drink on board.  As to the activities for teens, check them out!  Most are actually pretty good, such as the teen-only nightclub.  You will meet people and then have folks to meet at the pool, etc.  By the way, the ships are adamant about underage drinking and gambling, so don't even try it!

  5. the water they leave on your room is not free so don't open it unless you want to pay it maybe around $3  . the boat docks at different places and you can bring back to your room soda and can juices , you have to go to security before you go back on but they are cheaper. place likes walmart, Kmart and stores like that.they do have a sods card where you pay so much for the soda and you use it for the week. they also ask for a credit card when you board and they will add $10 a day per person for a total of $70 of $140 for two people and that is added to your bill you will see it at the end when your bill comes. you have added on so they can tip those who cleaned you room and waited on your during your stay. towels you don't have to pay for but if you take any off the ship for tours you have to sign for them and when you return them you show that you did and they know you brought them back if you don't they charge you for them so make sure you return them. the ones near the pools are free.these things are thing's we found out while traveling on ncl. also if you by any achocl you have to pay a tax when you are over you limit you will be given all information when you are on board.

  6. All the food is free. Drinks are free except pop and alcohol. The spa is not free.

    The teen groups are well done and fun. Considering the first alternative is hang out with the folks and the second to try to find a teen to hang out with that is not hanging out with all the other teens.

  7. She is right, drinks are not free on a cruise. I think you mean alcoholic..
