I have a cruise to alaska next month.the ship's itinerary ends in vancouver,canada. do i need a visa for this?

i am an exchange visitor here in the US. i am originally from asia.i have a cruise to alaska next month but I'm worried i might have a problem in stopping over in canada. the cruise itinerary will end in vancouver, BC, canada, which means that i need to board the plane in canada (the plane going back here). do i need a visa for this?a visa to enter Vancouver? please help!!

  1. passport most probably , but call the cruiseline and they will tell you what you need.  have a good cruise.


  2. First I would check with the cruise or airlines. I know for US residents we need a passport to fly into or out of Canada. Or maybe call where you booked your cruise. Alaska is a Beautiful place.

  3. Get a visa or better get a passport, all you might need is a passport, check with a travel agent.
