I have a crush on this amazing guy!!?

Question

i really like this guy at my school and hes totally cute and tall and funny and athletic ...did i mention cute!lol...we talk alot and he always gives me hugs and we hangout like at the movies and mall and bowling as friends....i really like him more than a friend though ...i dont know if he feels the same...weve known eachother for almost a year.....7 months i think..anyways, i want to tell him how i feel but i just cant do..can someone pleeeaaaseee give me advice!:)

You need to talk to him before he starts thinking of you as a little sister.  It happens all the time, I've been there my roommate in college has been there, my best friend has been there.  At some point you cross this line where you start thinking of people as family and not as just friends.  When this happens it's hard to cross back and guys no longer think of you as a regular girl or a girl they'd like to go out with.  If you have to do it over the phone or in a note, email IM whatever.  It's always better to do things in person, but sometimes it can be too scary.  Just say something along the lines of "we hang out a lot and I'm starting to think of you as more than a friend, do you feel the same way?"
