I have a curse when it comes to using blue pens?

Hello. I am not kidding when I said that.

I have bought or been given blue pens. All of them end up useless in my hands. After a day or two, they stop working!

And when I returen the pens which have been given to me by a friend, it starts working in their hands!

Believe me, the blue pens that i bought or have been given are good and widely used pens! How come it always stops working when it ends up in my hand??

Is this or curse or just a coincidence? I keep my pencil case which holds my pens in my room which is air-conditioned. Is the air-conditioning causing the ink to freeze up or something?

NO RUDE ANSWERS PLEASE. Just trying to find out what's wrong with me or my blue pens.

I'm currently using black pens because I don't trust blue pens anymore. : /

You may be inadvertently holding or storing the pen in a position which allows the ink to flow away from the writing end and thus render the pen inoperable until it is held in an upright position and the ball is moved across a piece of paper for a few seconds.

I don't think that the color is causing the problem; your holding or storage position may be the culprit.

It is a world wide conspiracy created just to confuse you, and make you penless. I know you won't believe me, but remember, I told you so. hehe ;-)

It could be several things going wrong- it could be the paper you are using- it could be how you use the pen.

People have so many different writing styles that you could be holding your pen at such at angle to keep the ink from flowing well.

You may want to check into using a pen with a "pressurized" refill such as Fisher pens.

They will work in Space, Upside Down, Underwater, etc.

They have the refills available in several different colors and point sizes.

I work for a pen store- so I get questions like this all of the time.
