  1. Check with your local free health clinic.  They can provide many options to get it dealt with for free.


  2. Call your county or city public health department and ask about free or low cost doctor clinics.

    If it gets bad enough, you could go to the ER and they might be able to drain it with a syringe or give you antibiotics and pain meds, but it could be a ganglion cyst on a nerve too...and that takes surgery that they probably won't do. ER visit will cost about $2000, but you can make payments. Or you could try an urgent care.

    You can take tylenol with an aspirin product that doesn't have tylenol already in it. Aspirin type products include aspirin, ibuprofen and naproxen. Just don't take two tylenol products or two aspirin products together. Tylenol works on pain transmissions at the brain level and is filtered through the liver. Aspirin products work on pain at the site of the pain and are filtered through the kidneys.
