I have a dark mole on my balls?

ive had it my whole life, since birth. its very dark,about .7 CM in diameter, and i have never liked the way it looks.it has really bothered me,so im going to the dermatologist to get it removed next month.i really want it gone. but how will they remove it? its not like its on my arm, or my foot, i mean, its in a critical area. any answers?

they freeze a little bit of it, and the frozen part scabs up, dries out and falls off.
