I have to pay in full 2k by thursday. But i know for a fact i will get at least 900 dollar in financial aid, minimum. But i made a mistake on my fafsa and i have to verify something on it. This will take 10 days for my financial aid to go through. I'm going to Hunter College and i don't know what i should do. Should i pay for the tuition in full then get the financial aid?? what should i do? Do i get reimbursed??

  1. Most schools will reimburse you if you pay up front and then get financial aid approved later.

Just be aware that you still will have to go through the verification process with financial aid and if they find any mistakes on your application they have the right to change your award amount.

  2. You have to pay it in full first, then get reimbursement (or more likely, it will be applied to your next tuition payment) if your financial aid is approved.  If the tuition is not paid on time, you have big problems.
