your computer can read vobs (the output from dvdshrink). if your current player wont handle them, use http://www.videolan.org/vlc/

DVD Decrypter and DVD Shrink are DVD Ripper, they just can help you make a copy of DVD onto computer, you need a DVD converter to help you convert the DVD to WMV video, then you can use windows movie maker to edit it. If you don't know how to convert DVD, here is a step by step guide for you
