I have a dell desktop. i have a toshiba laptop. the laptop is wifi. how do i connect the d/t to the web (l/t)?

i have the lan cable. i just want to piggy back or network the two together. is it possible?

  1. Yes it is possible, it is called Internet Connection Sharing in windows.  But It would be easier to just buy a USB WiFo broadcast point for your desktop and then just broadcast to your lap top.  Or go to ebay and buy a used wireless router.
