You can't so give it back to whomever you took it from

I'm assuming it's windows that is locked, so one way to get the password, as long as it is somewhat simple is to use OphCrack http://ophcrack.org/ a somple password cracking utility, which you don't have to do much to use.

is it a user that you have created yourself?

what version of windows are you running?

have you done any google research?

my only suggestion is to try to login into your administrator account.

At the login screen, hit cntrl-alt-delete-delete (so hit delete twice) hopefully that should help

ok loook u know how usually wen u turn it on it says press f7 f11 or some thing press system recovery and then rebote ur system and it lets u reset ur password
