Question:

I have a denon 2106 receiver has been working fine but?

now it wont turn on it shut off

and wont turn back on I tryed

diffrent outlets no power ?

what could be wrong?

  1. That could be ANYTHING. Try one more thing before taking it in for service or ditching it. Plug it back in and hold the power switch in for about 30 seconds or so and see if by some weird chance it "resets itself" and starts again. I had an "older" (1997) Kenwood that "stalled out" on me a couple of times. When I did the switch thing according to their directions, I got it to go again.


  2. UNPLUG IT, then take the top cover off. Look inside, in the area near where the power cord is connected, and see if the input fuse is blown. It's a $2 repair if you have a blown fuse. Be sure to get the right voltage and amperage. Both specs are stamped on the metal of the old fuse.

    If the input fuse is okay, you are going to need some professional help. Err, I mean your receiver is. lol
