please mention the brand of your camera

there are a couple of ways. the most full proof is to hook the cam to the computer and look under videos. the camera should also have a way to view the video. if the top has a dial, turn it to the review setting or the video setting. if you switch it to video, push the button that says review. it should be by the screen. good luck!
