My dad has it too. It is like Viggo Mortensen's or Kurt Douglas'. Just wondering.

Dimples are physical traits occurring in many ethnicities. It's not a matter of nationality, since nations are commonly formed by various ethnicities.

You could trace dimples to your father or mother's side, if that dominant trait appears in either line of decent. However, it will not be indicative of your ancestors ethnic backgrounds.
