I have a disk that is scrathed up pretty good can i go for them to repair it.?

i've heard that gamestop will repair disks but im not sure anyone know if thats true or anyone know of anyother place?

I haven't done it yet, but it can't hurt to try since it's scratched up anyway. But I was told to rub peanut butter over the disk. Let me know if it works.
