Can a tire that is 2inches smaller be put on my car? This is the spare it came with and I'm just worried about the height difference causing damage if I did use it.

  1. It is a temporary spare and should only be used until you can either fix the original tire or replace it. The spare is fine for temporary use only. It will not create damage unless you use it for prolong use.

  2. nope that spare that came with the car its fine.  Your suspension will make for difference in tire size.  Just make sure you don't drive over the recommended speed rating of the spare if you  use it.  I'm sure the engineers at Dodge did plenty of tests with that spare on the car to ensure  no damage would be possible when using it.  On the other hand its nice to have a full size spare, so you can drive normal highway speed if you put it on.  It might not fit as well in you trunk though.

  3. that's the way those come ,you can run it on the vehicle it wont hurt it none,it was only meant to be used for temporary use any way,but most of those came like that, good luck.
