  1. ski its way easier

  2. skiing.

i think you should know how to ski a little before you snowboard. snowboardings a lot harder.

  3. Skiing.  Take lessons.  You'll have a much better time if you do.

  4. I'd have to say snowboarding is pretty easy, though I haven't tried skiing in along time. Go with what you think you'd have more fun with. I would pick snowboarding though.

  5. well the problem with your question is that you are going to get biased results. skiers think skiing is the easiest to learn and easier to do....where as snow boarders are going to say boarding is the easier one to do and learn. ive never skiied but i have boarded...only once though. i chose boarding because i only had one board to worry about and not 2 skis and 2 poles. its going to come down to you and what you want to do more.

  6. Everyone I've talked to before I went a couple years ago suggested snowboarding first. It is much easier to learn to control and you are less likely to get hurt. This was also told to me by numerous ski instructors who taught both skiing and snowboarding, so I don't know why everyone is telling you skiing is easier.

Whatever you decide, make sure you arrange for a lesson first. That makes it SO much better!

  7. Wow. I just learned how to snowboard and its really fun! Everyone says its hard to snowboard but i thought it was easier then it was going to be! Its kinda hard to start off, but it is SO much fun once you get the hang of it. I imagine skiing is easier but i would snowboard if i were you. Just make sure you wear good waterproof pants!

  8. ski

  9. I would say definately skiing....the first time I went skiing, I ended up coming back on pain pills and muscle relaxers....I was also only 13 or 14....Good luck...

  10. skiing is way easier. snowboarding is good for the looks. I chose skiing (i can do both). if you are looking for skis look for the brands of

    DYNASTAR

    rossignal

    salomon

to help you feel a bit better, i managed to go on a black in 3 days!

  11. Well skiing is way easier and snowboarding once you get the hang of it its easy ,so your choice.

  12. It depends on what youre more comfotable with. if you ice skate then id ski becuase youre on ice and it leans towrds skiing but if you,  well nothing really isd the same as snow boarding so i guess id have to say skiing!!

  13. skiing is way easier.

  14. yup skiing is a lot easier that snowboarding-- 2 feet vs. 1?

plus, if u fall, its a bit easier to get up.

  15. You should really start out on skis becuz thats way measier and maybe once you get used to the feel of going down the mountain switch 2 snowboard

  16. learing wise, i'd say snowboarding... but as for tricks i'd go with skiing.. they can pull 1080's like its nothing and a boarder can only get like 720's.. but overall i learned how to board first.. and i found it a lot easier... just get up and to.. no worry about each of ur feet haha

  17. ski it is easier to learn, easier to get off the ski lift with, and safer to do.
