I have a dv camcorder and i dont know how to finalize it so i can watch it on my dvd player. help?

my bro gave me his dv camcorder to use but when i gave my mom the little cd thing it didnt work on her dvd player what can i do to watch it or to finalize it?

You have to finalize in the camera it was made. Consult the manual on how to do this. If you don't have the manual, go to the samsung web site. By the way, the cameras that use the mini dvd's are called mini dvd's, the minidv camera uses the dv cassettes.

when I take out the dvd out of my camcorder, it has to finalize first..it happens automaticly..and then it plays on my dvdplayer without any problems..but this is NOT a samsung..
