I have a early 60hp johnson outboard where is the water pump and where should it discharge from?

I have a early 60hp johnson outboard where is the water pump and where should it discharge from?

It hasn't got a pump,instead it's got a impeller made of rubber,it fits over the gearbox-shaft.You'll have to remove the gearbox to see it.When the shaft turns it turns the impeller,that then sucks the water in through little holes under the prop.The water then discharges through a little hole on the right side of the motor(looking from behind the motor),if it doesn't- the impeller needs replacing or the hole is blocked
