I have a embedded pc which i have connected a 2.5 ide hard drive blank and i have also connected a ribbon ?

Question

cable plugged into the 3.5 ide with a hard drive and cd rom attached. The embedded pc will not recognise the cdrom and hard drive when both plugged in only the 2.5 hard drive is then recognised, but when either the cdrom or other hard drive is removed the other shows back up. I have never had this issue in past just wondered if it was a setting in the bios i needed to change can anyone help

Make sure your pins are set up right for master/slave.
