  1. Please before you start bleeding brakes double check that the vacum line is conected/ not cracked/ broken /or leaking around connection.

  2. at least one inner pad is crooked in caliper frame and is flexing when you step on the brake [the pad material can be cracked by this rendering the new pads useless]

with the engine off and vacume depleted from the booster you probably have some sort of brake pedal [meaning it probabley dosn't go quite to the floor]

  3. You need to bleed the whole brake system (all four wheels). Start with the furthest from the master cylander ( probably right rear) then left rear, right front, and finally left front. Also make sure there is no leaks anywhere (front or back). Check the backing plates on your rear brakes and make sure the wheel cylanders are not leaking. After all this is done you should be good to go. GOOD LUCK!!!

  4. first thing is check for leaks in all 4 wheels. when you bleed brakes, start like this. right rear, left rear, right front and left front. also maybe the back brakes needs adjusted tighter.

  5. I'm assuming that you have the front calipers and  pads installed correctly. If you also put on rear shoes, are they adjusted. Have you checked for fluid leaks? Sounds like the brake master cylinder is bypassing fluid inside and you will most likely have to change it and rebleed the system.Starting with the right rear, left rear, right front and then left front.

  6. First have a helper push the brake and see if both front and rear master cyl tubing connections are pushing fluid. By loosening the connections and pushing the pedal. Next have approx a qt of fluid and start with the right rear then left front then the left rear then right front. Your Master Cyl may not be pushing fluid to all the circuits or by bleading in the correct procedure may get the M/C working again. It is not rocket science bleed out all the circuits then get back to us. Do you have a Haynes Manual or other book some fords have a warning light switch that needs to be posistioned with a special tool. So the brake warning light doesnot stay on after a brake circuit malfunction.
