And I personally think it's pretty badass. The only problem is that it's sort of patchy on one side. Is there any way to make it grow better? (It's a mushroom ring not a grass ring)

  1. Since it's the fungus living in the organic matter in the soil that causes this growth, I would tend to think you could make your own compost like my mother has done for years.  There are alot of good homemade compost recipes out there, just look around.  FYI, my mother always put eggshells, potato peels, apple peels,  beer (amount depends on size of compost heap), onion skins, used coffee grounds, pretty much anything that will eventually decompose into her compost heap and then she'd just give it a good turn every once in a while.  You could do this in a small amount and just place the compost where the ring is growing.  Hopefully the shrooms you have aren't poisonous, cause if they are I'd be concerned about pets and children playing around it. Hope this helps. I have a grass fairy ring in my back yard. They can be pretty.
