  1. Adrian Peterson is too good for Reggie Wayne. Stop there and wait for all the good non drafted players to start to do good and pick them up.

  2. stop with adrian.

  3. OK Elias, you were looking great until I read the part... "I trade Adrian Peterson for Reggie Wayne and..."  Now THAT was a huge jukebox scratch.  Above all else, do not do any kind of trade for Eli Manning, who is frankly horrible.  He had a nice run in the playoffs, but that is about it and he is a far cry from his older brother (don't get sucked into the name "Manning" for the sake of the name).

Provided you are in a standard performance scoring league, I like the move to get Adrian Peterson as you are not giving up as much as you are getting in return.  You get rid of a question mark with Burress (off-field issues and sounding a little disgruntled these days) and use him to land a stud RB.   Basically you are giving up Romo and Burress and getting Peterson and Hasselbeck in return.  Advantage Peterson and Hasselbeck.

At that point, I would consider Peterson off-limits and a permanent addition to my roster.  I would package Ryan Grant and, if you are lucky, DeAngelo Williams (or perhaps Hasselbeck if absolutely pressed) for Brees.  See what you can do to wrestle Brees away without giving up too much.  You are fine with not making a move and keeping Hasselbeck relative to your other options.  I would hold onto Johnson, Peterson, and McGahee as those three will hold (and potentially) increase in value as the season wears on.  Late in the season you can make a move to trade one of them when their value is high if needed... but keep in mind you can never have enough quality RB depth.
