I know if I get a male it will have to be neutered.

I was wanting another female but i don't know, will they get mad at each other, to see who is alpha rabbit?

I don't want any fights.

thanks

  1. with females they aren't too bothered, but when you get her the friend whatever gender (although in this case getting another female can be cheaper for you) make sure you introduce them in a place neither of them have been EVER. as if you introduce them in a place the original rabbit has been she'll be 'protecting' her territory and will fight with the other rabbit. and introduce them slowly, and don't leave them alone for the first few days.

  2. i would get a girl rabbit

r else get a boy n get it nutered

i had 2 boy rabbits dat were brothers and they endin up fightin n 1 had 2 go threw a very expensive opperation n didnt make it

  3. Don't get the same gender.  There will be lots of fighting.  Get a male and have both bunnies fixed (spayed and neutered).

However, if you plan on keeping them in separate cages and not near each other, then I guess it doesn't really matter what gender the second rabbit is.

    Good luck!

  4. Well Females might fight if its not from the same litter. But if you get a male yours might be afraid of him.

  5. Female but do this before you put them in a cage together.

get a smaller cage then put the smaller cage in your big rabbit cage then put your old rabbit in the small cage and your new one in the main cage they will be able to smell the different scents and they will get use to eachother (without being able to pick fights) after like 3 days switch them and in another 3 days put them together.it should be fine.

  6. I would suggest to get a male. My friend had a male and female and they were great friends. they even groomed eachother!

  7. If she isn't spayed it will be hard matching her up.
