I have a few college questions?

Ok I am only 13 but I want to know about college.

I want to have a dorm and stuff so like can we pick who ever me want to be our roomate? because I want my bff do be with me not a stranger.

And also....

Do you get to go out of school whenever you want?

At most colleges, you can request your roommate so you shouldn't have a problem. Your best friend has to get into the same college obviously. Yeah you get to go out of school when you want and you have a lot more freedom, just make sure you attend class when it is scheduled.

if you and your friend are in the same grade and go to the same college you will be able to room together, and you can leave whenever you want.

I don't think you should turn down the idea of having a roommate you don't know, Part of the college experience is to meet new people and a roommate is always the first step in that direction.

As for getting out of school, I don't think classes are mandatory, but you certainly need to attend to graduate. So basically, you can leave when you want. I think that's what you meant by the question. Some schools, like Dartmouth, allow students to study abroad for a season and leave the college to engage in a new experience. College schedules are a lot less tight-fit than high school. Your classes are spread out over the week instead of being there each day. So yes, you can "leave" when you're not in class, I guess. Some dorms have a curfew policy where you may not leave at certain hours of they day, or they may ask you to fill out a form granting permission to leave.

Hello lovely, my best answer to your question is this....

Your class schedule will depend on what time you get out of school.

For me I get out of school on Monday Wednesdays and Fridays at 1045 with taking three classes each of those days. On Tuesdays and Thursdays I get out of classes around 4pm because I had to take late classes.. So for how early you get out that all depends on your class schedule....

Now for the roommate gig, I am not quite certain, but I do believe that You may be able to choose your dorm mate, I do believe that as long as your best friend and you are the same s*x then there shouldn't be an issue. But again when you registrar for classes mention this to your advisor and to then college and I am sure that they can accommodate your needs as long as you both want to be in the same dorm...

But you also got to remember keep your head screwed on straight or you won't have to worry about getting into a college with a dorm, you will have to start out at a two year college and work your way up..
