  1. people are realising Yahoo music is a downgrade compared to other players.

Once yahoo gets ahold of something, it is stripped back to the bare basics for the free users. There are better programmes out there to play your music on.  Even paying customers of yahoo products, have major problems with customer care.

  2. 1.  You basically pay a monthly fee for unlimited downloads or I think if you go yearly you can get a year free.  Once a subscriber all you have to do is type in the artist name or whatever you are looking for and it will list all the albums by that artist.  You then click a button and the album is yours.  You have the option of either keeping it on your computer or keeping it out on their server to save space on your HD.

    2.  Yes.  As you can have as many as 3 computers activated at one time to access your music and your music will automatically appear in "My Music" (where it is stored) when you first sign into YMU for the first time on your new machine.

    3.  Yes you can download all the music you want and put it on your player.  You just have to make sure you plug up your player every couple of weeks to refresh the license.

    4.  From a price perspective you can't beat YMU, and I think most of the others work pretty much the same way.  You just need to make sure the player you have or get is compatible with YMU.  You can go to the help page for a list, but most "plays for sure" devices will work.
