  1. It depends on where you're adopting from and what agency...they all have different criteria.

  2. I would google adoption

I know it took my brother three years

I know most states you have to be approve by social Sevres

To bad they can not make all parents to this

No you do not have to be married

If a birth mother is look for parents, she may consider where you live, how much money you make and if you are marry or not

I would google adoption, you can find the answers to all your questions

  3. There isussually no age limit, although you do want to be able to active with the child or children. Of course you do have to make enough to support not only yourself , but the child as well. You don't have to be married , you can adopt any ages if you so wish, and most definately you can adopt siblings. We adopted two girls two years ago from our area and it has been great. If you do want to adopt an infant, be prepared to wait quite a while. Yes, they do remeber their birth family to some degree, but that's okay. You would want them to.. The best place to start would most likely be with the county where you live. You can go out of the country, but why do that when there are just as many children in this country that need homes and parentsas well. You should also be aware of any Native American heritage that could be in your background. If there is , you need to have that proof ready in case the issuse comes up. The child that you may be trying to adopt could have it in their background and it would make placement with you easier if it becomes an issue. It was in our case and things were pretty tough while we waited it out. Just a word of advice, have that ready and it will save a lot of touble later on . Good luck to you!
