I have a few questions about exercise (specifically my abs and pecs)?

I''m 15, and this month I'm planning to exercise so I lose some fat around my stomach and upper body. I'm not really overweight, but I'd like my abs to at least be a bit visible. Does anyone know any good exercise techniques to lose the fat and get some good abs? Also, I've heard that after you exercise, that area could be a bit sore. Does that mean I should exercise every other day, so my cells and tissue can have some time to grow and recover? Also, what are some good exercise techniques to lose my man b***s and get some pecs? This year I don't want to be intimidated or ashamed to take my shirt off in the shower room. Thanks!

  1. Hello how are you doing today? The key to getting your abs the way you want them is more than just doing crunches. Secondly you don't need to use any type of machines like ab rollers or ab chairs. I know of a great downloadable  step by step program thats rated #1.  Click on the link below to see if it might interest you. Good luck!

  2. Hey, I'm 16 years old, and I have visible abs and pecs.

For the abs, sit ups worked great for me.  Since it sounds like you're starting to workout now, I will recommend a system for a beginner.

Do about 15 sit ups with your legs flat and outstretched on the floor.

then do 15 more in the normal, legs bent position.

then finish with 15 in the crunch posistion (feet off the floor, knees pulled as close to chest as possible)

If thats too hard or too easy, just adjust the numbers accordingly.

    .................

Now for pecs.  once again, simple excersizes work.  I started doing pushups in about 8th grade, and now i can do about 70 w/o stopping.

You should probably be aiming at 10-20.  Also, experiment with the distant apart that you spread your hands.  Closer works the more central area of your pecks, farther broadens them.

Now do as many sets of those as you can WITH PROPER FORM.

if the next day you are sore, dont workout.  if not, go ahead and workout again.

    Good Luck!
