  1. Well the ninja 250 sells pretty quick so you are more likely to be on a waiting list. If you buy a ninja 250, you can just get a aftermarket exhaust if you don't like the sound of the stock one. But if I were you, I would start off something like a cbr600 or a gsxr600. Trust me on this, you will probably get tired of the 250 after a month or so and you'll want more HP. Thats just my thought though. I just got a gsxr 750 k8 about 2 months ago and its my first bike. I love it!! My co-worker has a 2008 ninja 250 and she let me ride it and I'm glad I have bought the 750. But the choice is  up to you of course! anyway, as far as insurance go, you might want to check out geico or progressive and it will be a bit expensive for you regardless of traffic tickets just because of your age. and for accessories, there are a lot of places you can go.

    this is my favorite place

well, i am too in california so "maybe" i'll see ya around.. good luck to you

  2. First it is a cool looking bike in the rr format. It is made well and unfortunately it is sold before it reaches your dealer. Dealers are adding numbers to the bottom line on this one, I've heard of them charging an additional grand simply because every one wants it. Personally I would never pay that for a fad bike. I would look at another marque even if I had ot get a cruiser. You might consider a 500 Suzuki twin as a beginner bike, Be careful, buy a helmet, gloves boots and a jacket.

  3. great beginner bike. They handle great and don't have alot of hp. you can get aftermarket exhaust and other parts at most sportbike part suppliers. check out www.ninja250.org

insurance will be high due to your age no matter what you drive or ride.
