ok so i have just a few little questions. first off, all these abbreviations. i read peoples questions but cant figure out what some of the abbreviations are. if someone can list the abbreviations and explain that would be greatly appreciated. i will tell you, i do know what OPK and some others stand for, just not all of them.

also, i hear everyone say they take their temps and check their CM,(i do know that one too) but i dont seem to have noticeable CM at all when im ovulating. i believe this might be the reason im having so much trouble getting pregnant. i never seem to ever have any kind of lubrication throughout the month. i ALWAYS have to use saliva or something else just to make love. EXCEPT, right after my cycle, i seem to be "wet" for a few days. however i have used OPK and know this is not when i am ovulating. i've been trying for almost a year and a half and im losing hope. i know i really need to just go see a specialist, im just scared he'll confirm my biggest fear. i guess hoping each month and being let down is better than knowing if you absolutely cant have kids. anyway any advice would be greatly appreciated! thanks!!!

  2. You partner who you're trying to have a baby with could have a very low sperm count hence why you're having trouble conceiving a baby.

You could try not having any caffine or chocolate when you're trying it decreases the lining in your uterus and then the egg can not implant.

Your partner should also stay out of the tub/ jacuzzi.  The hot temp. with kill sperm for up to 3 months!

  3. Using Saliva can kill sperm.  I would suggest getting the book Taking Charge of Your Fertility.  It teaches you all about charting and checking CM and is very thourough. It's a huge book but has so much info.  I am currently in the first month TTC.  I actually just started this book, but have been using Dr. Shettles book How to Choose the s*x of Your Child and it seems to be sort of the cliff note version and much quicker to read if you want to start right away.  Then anything I had questions on I would google and it seemed to pretty much be all the info I needed.  Now I just need to find the magical website that tells me I am pregnant since the two-week-wait is so terrible.

best of luck to you and baby dust!
