what does smothering mean and is there any related terms and what does conduct mean and are there any related trems to it i also need related terms to insulate

Sound is vibration in a medium.  It is, therefore, a form of mechanical energy.  Sound energy is the energy of the sound.

Sothering means starving for air.

Conduct means behavior.

Insulate means to protect by covering.
