It has no verification signature and i can find no way to remove it. I just cancel it whenever it appears. I am worried it is something malicious and want rid of it!

  1. Daon't tell us what the program is, we can't tell you whether it is OK or not.

  2. try:

    http://www.winpatrol.com/download.html

  3. if you have windows go to start. then go to all programs. Then go to startup and those are the programs that run when you first turn on your computer. If you find the name of the file and you recognize it then right click and click delete. It will stop it from running at start but it is not uninstalled or removed from your computer.

  4. Sorry can't help without more information.,

  5. Run msconfig and disable it from the startup tab.

  6. I have seen this before and will sort it for £5 if you are stuck.

People may well give me a thumbs down, but I am an I.T. Consultant. I don't see doctors, teachers, dentists etc. working for nothing so why should I?

  7. Do a Google search on the name before you what everybody is suggesting.  It might be something you want or need.

  8. Can't really tell you if it's malicious or how to deal with it without knowing what it is.

  9. go to start > run > type msconfig and press enter > select the start up tab > look for an entry that matches the file and uncheck it > reboot > tick dont show this again.

This will stop the file running at start up.

go to start > search > all files and folders > enter the name of the file > delete any returned files

This will get rid of it

  10. Download a program called hijackthis and do a scan of your system, then delete or fix whatever files are out of the ordinary.
