When I turn my computer on, it sounds like it is loading all my programs on my desk top but I just cant see them because my screen is black.. When I turn my computer off the monitar will say on the screen....NO VIDEO.....like it always use to do when I turn it off. I was wondering if anyone knew if these monitars have some kind of light bulb in them that needs changed or if anyone has any ideal what could be wrong. Thank you

  1. If it's a Dell, I have to say I'm not surprised.  Otherwise, no, you shouldn't need to change a bulb in it.  The first thing I would check is that all your cables are tight.  If so, try another monitor and see if it works.  If not, then it's your video card.  If a different monitor works, then the issue is most likely one of two things; either a) your monitor is hosed, in which case you should contact the manufacturer about warranty service, or b) your computer is set to a resolution that your monitor can't display, so you should set the resolution to the lowest setting possible using the alternate monitor and then try it again.  Good luck!
