  1. The best way to get to the city from the airport is to take the train to the Cadorna station which is close to the duomo area. A round-trip ticket is 14.50 euro. Travel time is 40 minutes in each direction. From there it's a short walk to the Duomo or you can take the metro red line from the station to the Duomo stop. There's a map that shows Cadorna and the Duomo at: http://www.hotelbernina.com/en/location. On the hotel website click on location then click on print map in pdf format

The train station in Malpensa is downstairs in Terminal 1. The train schedule and other information is at: http://www.malpensaexpress.it/

You won't have very much time in the city.

There is also a shuttle bus to Milano Centrale station, but that takes an hour each way to and from the airport.

  2. If you arrive during rush hour (7 am to about 9 am or 5 pm to abut 7 pm) then you are better off staying at the airport. You'll spend most of your time of the darn bus.

If you arrive at the right time then follow Conley39's advice on how to get to the city. Catch a cab or take the Metro (underground subway) and make a dash to see the Duomo, Milan's Cathedral. It will be worth the effort.

  3. AHAHAHA DON'T DO THAT Believe Me!!!

In Italya especially Milan sometimes train have 5 hours delay!!!

    AND IS NOT A JOKE!!!!

the train I took last week was running dalayed abouy 3.5 hours
