my layover is in GA. and im going to richmond va.

what if there is a hurrince there will my flight be delayed? or will they cancel it?? im scared that i wont be able to go on my trip bc its hurrince season down there dose anyone know?

  1. Aircraft will generally fly around hurricanes.  The exception is if the hurricane is too near the airport the flight is going to/from - if that is the case they'll either delay the flight, cancel it, or fly you to somewhere nearby and bus you the rest of the way.  But that's pretty rare.

    You'll be fine - if Atlanta were unusable half the year, Delta and AirTran wouldn't have put their hubs there.

    If you're really concerned, look at weather.com in the hurricane section, to check if anything is barreling down on your area.
