  1. well, the fact that you tree is producing pears, is the main reason the flowers are wilting. if you look at a ripe pear at its juiciest state, it is covered in bruises, dark spots, soft spots, and ravines. this also applies to the leaves. just regularly feel the leaves for there texture and brittleness. you need to worry when the leaves get too hard and are easy to break with only one hand. you want the leaves to stay soft and moist. if they begin to harden (which, if you have ever been where the leaves fall a great deal in autumn, is the same with every leaf excluding a few) you must IMMEDIATELY begin to water it and nourish it with a natural fertilizer (the chemicals gives the pear a weird taste) so even if the leaves are turning brownish or beginning to shrink, let them be. but, if you wait to long after you feel them become hard, they will most certainly die. as someone who works and makes a living off agriculture, i must state that a pear is the hardest and most annoying food to grow.

  2. Tiger doesn't have a clue..lol..You are watring them too much..they fruit good under stress..you want the soil to go dry completely inbetween waterings...Pears are not the hardest fruit to grow..they grow wild around here with no water at all for months ...also pears will not ripen on the tree..they need picked green or right when they start to show any red or brown..elsewise if not picked ..they will rot and fall off of the tree...read under PEARS HERE..
