  1. What engine does it have? The 5.4L engine should be able to handle it with the right equipment and gearing. I assume that it's a 5th wheel trailer? If not, be sure to use a weight distributing hitch system and sway controllers. If you don't use a weight distributing hitch, you will have way to much weight on the rear of the vehicle. This can result in loss of control and cause an accident. Also, be sure that the brakes on both the truck and trailer are functioning properly, this includes the electric trailer brake controler in the truck.


  2. That's a tall order for an F-150.  You may be able to get it moving, but stopping it will be an issue. I think you may need to step up to Super Duty to tow something that large comfortably.
