  1. speak to your doctor , and check with the airline

  2. i guess u should talk to ur doctor bout that

  3. Whoever or whatever is on the other end of the flight can wait. So, my answer would be no. Someone else gave a excellent reason why you shouldn't.

  4. I would definitely check with your Dr. before you undertake this journey.  This is about your spine, not something to be taken lightly.  The problem here is mutli-fold.  You'll be required to sit in a singular position for most of the duration of the trip possibly putting pressure on an already inflamed injury.  Aircraft pressurization may effect not only the injury but could easily have an adverse (or multiplying) affect on any medication you're taking. And probably most importantly, should there be (God forbid) any type of emergency situation you could do irreparable damage to yourself.  Would it be possible to postpone your trip?  Back problems only get worse and more complicated as we age.  Please do yourself a favor and treat this situation seriously.  You'll be better off being slightly inconvenienced now rather than living a life of chronic back pain.  Best of luck to you.

  5. No airline with an ounce of sense will take you.

  6. I would be very surprised if any airline would carry you.  If anyone will carry you, as previously explained you will be forced to sit in a position where you are restricted for 3.5 hours and the pressurisation in the cabin will effect the fracture.

I had to cancel a holiday due to having multiple fractures and even 4 months after the initial accident no doctor would give me a letter to permit me to fly.  I was told that the pressurisation in the cabbin could aggrivate the fractures.

At the end of the day, especially with you fracturing your vertebrae it really is not worth the risk.  Give yourself a good 6 months then try again.

Speak to your doctor and ask him/her when you will be permitted to fly.
