it host files up to 750mb and images up to 2mb is there a place where i can tell people about it http://my-fun-website.com

One of the best ways to tell people about your site is to submit it to website directories.  I do that for all the sites I design and it improves their traffic.  

You can also join forums that are in the same category as what your site is about and promote it there.

Another way is to write an article about it and submit it to different free ezines and such.

There are so many resources out there to promote your sites.  You just need the right push in the right direction.  Hopefully that helps you a little.
