She's an adult legally, but she still needs to have consequences for her actions, and has no parental figure to turn to, i was wondering if anyone had an idea's for consequences, and a good way to go about it.

  1. The answer to your question would depend on what your friend did that you feel was wrong. The "punishment" If you will, should fit the "crime"...What do you feel your friend did wrong?

  2. Personally I believe we are most likely to thrive when we're motivated by the pursuit of true dreams than by negative consequences.  Young adults often focus on how to get around consequences vs. learning lessons.  We learn more when we feel in control and that sense of core satisfaction when we are in carrying out our "purpose" doing activities that bring meaning to life.  People who don't learn about life's consequences by early adulthood are likely to be motivated to beat the system and avoid consequences, than would someone focused on dreams.who, in the course of pursuit of dreams the person shifts their focus away from behaviors and other people/places/things that hinder efforts to reach thbe dreams..
